Colors- Week #8 Photos

Our brown and gray activity table for Week
Eight included two puppets, a much-loved
paperback copy of Koala Lou by Mem Fox,
and color sorting shape cards.

Our two story time book picks for the week
included Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do
You See? by Bill Martin, Jr. and Eric Carle
(we had lots of fun making all the animal sounds
to go along with the pictures) and Monkey and
Me by Emily Gravett. 

We did a flannelboard story- Mouse
Count by Ellen Stoll Walsh- for our
activity.  Check out that sneaky snake
trying to grab a mouse!

Colors- Week #7 Photos


Our white activity table included a pair
of fuzzy stuffed rabbits, a picture book
about polar bears (and other animals!),
white alphabet cubes, and a paper
snowball toss game.

Stinkin' Grapes by Margie Palatini.

We learned about the principle
of color mixing for our activity.
Red + Blue= Purple!
