Barnyard Bash! Week #4 - Horses

Week four was all about horses -- our books were Are You A Horse?, Away Went The Farmer's Hat, and Book! Book! Book! We played a wild game of Clean Sweep and made horses with different colored manes.

No Story Time March 30-April 3

There will be no Story Time March 30 through April 3. We will start again April 6 with our Barnyard Bash! theme and the animal of the week will be Pigs!!

Barnyard Bash! Week #3 - Mice

This week was all about mice! We read The Mouse Who Braved Bedtime and Friends. We played Mouse Shadow Bowling and made little pink and grey mice!

Barnyard Bash! Week #2 - Dogs

This week our theme was all about dogs! We read McDuff Comes Home and Move Over, Rover! Our game was "Feed the Dogs" and then we made dog puppets.

New books at Ozark Regional Library

A new graphic novel titled  Mr. Ball An Egg-cellent Adventure and a non-fiction book about the invention of ear muffs.

Three more of The Sisters Grimm series.

An Easy Reader about Thomas Goes Fishing and a graphic novel called Sisters. Sisters is  about "three weeks, two sisters, one car and a true story".

A couple new sports books.

Barnyard Bash! Week #1 - Cats

Our first week of  Barnyard Bash was all about Cats!! We celebrated the birthday of  Dr. Seuss (his birthday was March 2) and we read a few pages of The Cat In the Hat. We also read I Need My Own Country and Why Not? Our game was "Pin the Hat on the Cat" and the craft was a cat door hanger.
