Spring Story Time Schedule is set!!

Hi everyone!! Hope you are staying warm on these cold, winter days.
We have lots of new books that have been added to our collection the past few weeks. Stop by and check out the newest selections.
Our spring story time - Barnyard Bash! - will begin the week of March 2. Come by and pick up a schedule at the front desk of your local library. You can also find the schedule on our website calendar.

Get Creative- Week #9 Photos

This week's Activity Table included "flower tower" blocks, paper to make a pretend cocoon, and accordian-fold caterpillars!

Get Creative- Week #8 Photos

Get Creative- Week #7 Photos

This week was all about food!  We read books about pizza and cake.
We held an ice cream cone relay race for one of our games...
And tried to be pizza makers, tossing pepperoni and olives onto our pizza slices.
Then we made scent-sational apple pie pictures sprinkled with real cinnamon!
More perfect pies!
What a week!  We had a special guest hop by to visit us at our Fredericktown branch- the Easter Bunny!

Get Creative- Week #6 Photos

The Week #6 Activity Table included animal movement cards, movement dice, and ribbon rings.
A few book choices for the week- we got our exercise dancing and grooving!
Reading Giraffes Can't Dance by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees.
Reading Dancing Feet by Lindsey Craig and Marc Brown.
The kids helped decorate our seasonal wall tree at Recklein Memorial Library at Cuba.
We did parachute play for our game.
We had a blast working together to bounce the pompoms off the parachute!
We used magnets and paint-dipped paper clips to create fun swirl art for our craft.
