Barnyard Bash! Week #7 - Cows!!

This week we read Where's Mary's Hat? and Sakes Alive! A Cattle Drive. Our activity was science experiments. We saw fat broken down in milk and food coloring, we saw pepper "run away" from soap and "run to" sugar, and we poked pencils thru ziplock bags filled with water - most of the time it was a success -- although we did have a few drips! HA

Barnyard Bash! Week #6 -- Chickens!!

This week our theme was Chickens!! We read The Little Red Hen Makes A Pizza and Rooster Can't Cock-A-Doodle-Doo. We played Egg Relay Races and made a paper plate chicken.

Relay races are EGGS-hausting!!!

Barnyard Bash! Week #5 Pigs!!!!

This week our animal of the week was Pigs!! We read Papa and Piglet, Princess Pig and A Prize for Percival. Our game was saving "coins" in our Piggy Banks and the craft was a paper plate Party Pig.

Story Time Starts again Monday!!

Barnyard Bash! will start again April 6th! We are doing some remodeling at the Ironton location next week but we will be having story time there Monday morning at 10 a.m. See you all next week. Have a great weekend.
