Colors- Week #6 Photos

Our purple activity table included colored
mice (pick out the purple ones!), purple shaker
eggs for music play, foam alphabet letters,
and two picture books to browse: Rainbow
Fish by Marcus Pfister and Lousy Rotten
Stinkin' Grapes by Margie Palatini.

Two of our story time book picks for
Week #6: I'm the Best Artist in the Ocean
by Kevin Sherry and Gladys Goes Out to
Lunch by Derek Anderson.

We learned about the principle
of color mixing for our activity.
Red + Blue= Purple!

Working on painting grape "jam"
(aka purple paint mixed with
grape gelatin powder) on
paper toast.  Messy, but fun!
