Summer Reading Program 2013

Are you ready to Dig Into Reading and delve Beneath the Surface of your library this summer?

Summer Reading Program 2013 is here!  This summer's youth slogan (for kids ages 0-11) is Dig Into Reading, and the teen slogan is Beneath the Surface.  Since the program this year is focused on underground, we'll be featuring lots of great events related to caving, mining, archeology, dinosaurs, and more!  Be sure to check the June and July summer calendars in the left-hand column of the blog, and if the program you're interested in is marked as "registration required", be sure to sign up SOON before all the spots fill up!  You can call your local library to register.

And if summer school, sports, or something else is keeping you from attending library programs, you can still get in on all the fun at the library!  Just stop by your local library's front desk anytime between June 1 and July 31 to sign up for the Summer Reading Club, where you win cool prizes for every five books you read (including free books, toys, and pizza vouchers!).
