Exploring Asia!
We read the book “Lon Po Po,” which is a Chinese
take on Little Red Riding Hood. We
talked about the different holidays, dances, and instruments used in Asia. For our craft, we made painted wind chimes
and made diyas. Wind chimes originated
in Asia and diyas are used in the Hindu culture, especially for the holiday,
Diwali. For our snack, we tried pocky and soy-flavored crackers. The pocky was immensely popular and can be
purchased at Walmart. Check out our pics
